Transneft says Rosneft’s non-full oil delivery hurts intake

MOSCOW, Jun 5 (PRIME) – Rosneft has been distributing oil it delivers to Transneft unevenly this year hampering other companies’ deliveries, the oil pipeline monopoly said in statement on Tuesday.

“Oil company Rosneft has not been fully distributing oil it commissions to the trunk pipeline system for the entire 2019. In January 2019, the amount of oil not accompanied by routing orders stood at 70,000 tonnes, in February at 610,000 tonnes, in March at 925,000 tonnes and in April it was already 1.07 million tonnes,” Transneft said.

The statement follows a speech by Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, who said that contamination of oil exported via the Druzhba pipeline hurt Rosneft and the country’s exports to Western Europe.
